Job vacancy of Civil Judge and Judicial Magistrate FC at High Court of Bombay at Goa, Panaji

There is a job vacancy of five posts of Civil Judge, Junior Division and Judicial Magistrate First Class. These posts are on an adhoc and temporary basis which is for a period of 5 years. Such a candidate is on probation for the initial two years. Last date of application is 18th January 2016.

The pay scale of the aforementioned posts in the Goa Judicial Service is of Rs. 27700-770-33090-920-40450-1080-44770 and other allowances as admissible under the Rules.

Eligibility criteria:

  • A Degree of Law.
  • Sufficient knowledge of Konkani.
  • Knowledge of Marathi is desirable.
  • Such knowledge must be certified as has been mentioned in the circular.
  • Should be a citizen of India.

Age Limit:

Minimum age requirement is not less than 21 years of age and maximum age limit is:

  • Thirty-five years in case of advocates who are having three years of practice,
  • Twenty-five years in case of fresh Law Graduates,
  • Forty-five years in case of ministerial staff.

    2. The Goa, Daman & Diu Mundkars (Protection from Eviction) Act, 1975
    3. The Goa, Daman & Diu Buildings (Lease, Rent & Eviction) Control Act, 1968 and Rules, 1969
  12. The Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973
  13. The Indian Penal Code, 1860
  14. The Evidence Act, 1872
  15. The Scheduled Castes & Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989
  16. The Negotiable Instrument Act, 1881
