An adverse order has been passed by the high court in a writ petition by a single judge bench. If I want to file a writ appeal against this order in the same high court consisting of two judges, then what is the time limitation period to do so?

Filing an appeal from a single judge bench of the high court to a division bench (of 2 judges) of the high court is an intra-court appeal. In some high courts, it is also called letters patent appeal (LPA). In some high courts, such an intra-court appeal in a writ matter is called writ appeal.

The limitation period for filing an appeal in the same high court from the decision of a single bench to the division bench is 30 (thirty) days.
