      Dear Sir,

In dowry case, can prosecution/complainant, to prove her case, produce more witnesses or evidences (audio/video/call recordings, chats and emails etc.) which are not included in the final report (challan) of police?
Is it usual practice or unusual?
What are laws/factors courts take in account on such request of prosecution/complainant?

      Thank you very much.

      Regards,
      Govind

Yes, it is possible for the prosecution / complainant to produce additional evidence in the form of witnesses and documents, with the permission of the court. The court has the power to permit such additional evidence which was not mentioned in the charge sheet.
