National Law School of India University (NLSIU), Bangalore, is organizing a three-day certificate course in Arbitration from 6th-8th February 2015. Attendance for the course is compulsory. The venue of the course is R Krishnappa Memorial Hall, Academic Block, NLSIU, Bangalore. This course is being organized by the Distance Education Department of the NLSIU. The last day for submitting the duly filled-in application is 10th January 2015.
This Arbitration Course is meant for teachers, scholars, professionals and practitioners who wish to gain knowledge, skill and expertise in arbitration.
In view of huge pendency in courts and looking at expensive nature of litigation, arbitration has become one of the most sought after dispute resolution mechanism. Arbitration can help resolve outstanding disputes legally and formally, as it is a legal, formal, private binding process through which disputes can be resolved by an award made by the arbitrators.
The course fee is Rs. 8,700/- to be paid by a demand draft to be made in favuor of The Registrar, NLSIU, payable at Banglore. There are limited seats for the course on a first-cum-first basis. Registration can be done by sending an email to ded@nls.ac.in
