Sir as per your reply its seems that in crpc IO have such powers that he can go for investigation in other states but going through the crpc 156 i saw that there is written “within the limits of his station.” then what does it means. Please clear it.

Dear sir if IO have such powers then why IO shows in his report the arresting of accused from other place instead of original place of arresting. Is there any law which states that this act done by the IO is not against the law.
