      I was awarded CRS by bank for a set of charges on 31/07/2006 then CBI case was filed and CBI court trial was conducted and punishment was given which i challenged with High court, now can I argue about double jeopardy since all the charges of CBI chargesheet are same and out of the charges of bank, thanks

      There are judgments of the Supreme Court as per which penalty in a departmental proceedings and punishment in a criminal case on the same charges can be given. These are proceedings of different nature. It will not come under double jeopardy within the meaning of Article 20 of the Constitution.
