It is noteworthy that earlier Rohatak Police in Haryana had arrested certain people allegedly responsible for the paper leak for the AIPMT. Rohtak Inspector General of Police (IGP) Shri Shrikant Jadhav had informed that an answer key of 90 questions, mobile chips, micro earphones, blue-tooth devices and digital watches had been seized from the possession of the arrested accused persons. He had further informed that the accused persons had planned to stitch the gadgets to the candidates’ undergarments through which the answer key was to be passed on to them. It was reported that 9 candidates for the AIPMT examination had agreed to pay Rs. 15-20 lakh for the said deal.
However, later, the Central Board of Secondary Examination (CBSE) had denied the AIPMT paper leak.
With the Supreme Court now agreeing to issue Notice to the Union of India, CBSE and the State of Haryana, in this paper leak matter, and posting the matter for Thursday for further hearing, it is expected that truth will come out.
The results of the AIPMT examination which was conducted on 3rd May 2015, are likely to be declared by 5th June 2015. The AIPMT Entrance Examination consists of only one paper containing 180 objective type questions from Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Botany & Zoology). Each question has four options with single correct answer.
