My writ petition has been dismissed by the high court for default since my advocate was not present when the matter was called out. I was out of station. My enquiries shows that on the previous date also, my advocate was absent from the court.

What can I do to reopen the case? Is there any way to reopen the case?

You can file an Application for Restoration of your writ petition, giving detailed reasons as to why nobody was present in the court when the case was called out. If the court is satisfied with the reasons given by you, it may restore the writ petition which was dismissed for default.
